My stay was incredibly disappointing. The shower had paint peeling, and I encountered an awful chemical smell in the hallways, which made me feel uneasy. Additionally, the TV didn’t work the entire time, and despite contacting maintenance, it was never fixed, leaving me frustrated during my stay.

Who knew? Not me!

I was shocked by how delightful some aspects of my stay were! The staff member Shonda truly went above and beyond to make things right, turning a poor room experience into a memorable one. The balcony room was spacious, and the breakfast was a pleasant surprise! With a few improvements, this place could be remarkable!

All fine, but moldy bathroom

The Courtyard Newport News Yorktown has cozy, beautifully decorated common areas that made me feel at home. Accessibility features were thoughtfully arranged, making it easy for seniors to navigate and enjoy their stay comfortably.

I had a decent stay in Newport News. the room was spacious but had a musty smell. The breakfast was overpriced but the staff was incredibly attentive, resembling the great service I experienced from Rodney at the bar on a previous visit. Unfortunately, the internet was disappointing and didn't match what was advertised.

The staff here were incredibly accommodating and friendly. I enjoyed the comfortable King Room with a Sofa Bed, which was perfect for relaxing after our day of exploring. The complimentary Wi-Fi made it easy to stay connected and plan our outings.

Some areas of the hotel could use more thorough cleaning.

I had an awesome experience thanks to Shonda's incredible help! She turned my stay around when my room wasn’t great. The indoor pool was a nice touch. However, the cleanliness could improve. 🌊

We played some golf at Kiln Creek and enjoyed shopping nearby. The staff was super friendly and the rooms were clean. Definitely a great spot for groups with all the fun stuff around.

One issue was that our room needed a bit more attention to cleanliness. there was hair on the floor when we arrived.

We enjoyed our stay with the kids, especially exploring nearby outlet shopping and the Kiln Creek Golf Club. The room was spacious, allowing us to unwind after our busy days, and it was great to have the convenience of a dining area.

I had a cozy two-night stay in a King Room with Sofa Bed, and Shonda was a lifesaver in getting me a better room after the first one didn't meet expectations. I loved unwinding at the nice lounge area and the poolside. those were great spots to relax. The breakfast options were pricier than I’d hoped, so it’s good to plan ahead! 😊

I had a fantastic stay enjoying the hotel's proximity to Ruby Tuesday, just a few steps away, and the Hampton Roads Iceplex, which was perfect for a leisurely stroll to take in the sights. check-in was smooth, and the staff made me feel welcomed throughout my visit.
